930 images of Expo 2012 in less than 4 minutes!

Across from one of the entrances at this year’s world’s fair (Expo 2012 in Yeosu, South Korea) was an almost hidden reminder of the 1964-‘65 New York World’s Fair: the “it’s a small world” theme from the Pepsi/UNICEF Pavilion.

Here’s our video highlighting Expo 2012’s Lotte Pavilion. It features a ride that could be described as the balloon ride version of Disney’s “Soarin’” attraction.

Lotte is a big entertainment/food/drink/retail company in Korea.

Expo 2012’s France Pavilion was certainly one of the more visually unique pavilions at Yeosu’s world’s fair.

Not all nations in Expo 2012’s Atlantic Ocean Joint Pavilion were connected to the Atlantic Ocean more than another ocean. Presumably, space was limited in the Indian Ocean Joint Pavilion. Even the Comorros, a nation IN the Indian Ocean was in this pavilion.

Timor-Leste, being a new country, can claim a 100% participation rate at world’s fairs. They’ve been at both Shanghai’s Expo 2010 and Yeosu’s Expo 2012. Few countries can claim this.
